RISON by REV. J. M. BANISTER, D.D., MR. FRANK S. HORTON, of Mobile to MISS AMANDA N. COLEMAN, daughter of the late JOHN J. COLEMAN of Huntsville. Died in this city on the 4th, MISS NELLIE LEE JOLLEY, daughter of BENJAMIN and CAROLINE E. JOLLEY aged 16 years 4 months and 3 days. Died on the 30th at his residence near Meridianville, MR. CHARLES THOMAS, an old and well-known citizen. Died on the 1st after a long and painful illness, MRS. AMERICA GERON, wife of MR. C(LAIBORN) C(OLE) GERON of this place. (Bible says d 2 Oct 1871--buried in Huntsville on family plot) October 20, 1871 Married at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Maysville, Ala. at 8% P.M. October 15th by REV. C. B. SANDERS, D. C. GORDON, Esq., Sheriff of Phillips County, Arkansas (to McLane) to MRS. COOSIE JONES. Married in Madison, Ala. Oct. 9th at the residence of DR. G. R. SULLIVAN by REV. L. HENSLY GRUBBS, MR. JAMES M. DOUTHIT to MISS SUSAN E. DEDMAN. Died on the 18th in this place, WILLIAM R. infant son of JAMES W. and CALEDONIA POLLARD. October 27, 1871 Married at Nashville, Tennessee October 18th by REV. DR. KELLEY, COL. L. H. SCRUGGS of this city to MISS EMMA COOLEY of Nashville. Died on the 24th of heart disease, MR. JAMES W. BURWELL in his 69th year. AMISS of Blacksburg (Montgomery Co.), Va. to MISS REBECCA E. W. MASTIN. HON. JOHN A. LEWIS of Russell Co. Ala. died last week. He had been Probate Judge and served in the State Senate. November 10, 1871 Married on the 1st in Holmes Co. Miss. MR. ROBERT NANCE OF Madison County, Alabama to MISS FANNIE BINFORD. November 17, 1871 Married on the 15th at Huntsville Hotel by REV. J. M. BANISTER, MR. MARK GRAYSON to MRS. JENNIE GILBERT REESE, both members of Gilbert Dramatic Troupe. Married on the 13th by ROBERT W. FIGG, Esq. MR. WM. F.
