STROTHER, aged about 69; was an old citizen of that vicinity, had been for many years a magistrate, was a man of fidelity to official trusts, took a deep interest in all local matters, was a useful citizen and had many friends. Life time member of the Methodist church. June 28, 1872 REV. R. B. McLEAN of Salem, Tenn, died on 13th aged 41. Married 16 June by ELDER J. W. BRAGG, MR. WILLIAM B. JOHNSON to MISS SOPHIA L. BOSTICK, all of this county. Married on 25th at residence of the bride's mother by REV. DR. GEORGE WHITE, rector of Calvary Church, COL. WM. C. JULIAN of East Tenn, to MISS MARY W. BOWERS of Memphis. RICHARD JAMAR died at his residence near Madison, Ala. on 22nd. Born in Va, 87 years ago and moved to Madison Co. Ala. 1819. In 1824 he joined the Methodist Church. Ala. on the 25th aged..............................(torn) years. July 12, 1872 Died in this city on the 10th, MISS DEBBY ANN WILLIAMS, daughter of the late C. BASCOM WILLIAMS. Died at his residence in this county. Mar. 29, JASON M. BRAZELTON (son of HENRY), Esq. at an advanced age, having been born Mar. 29, 1812. He was an honest man and a good citizen. MR. GEORGE JUDE of this vicinity died on the 10th aged over 80. Had resided in this county for many years, and always bore the character of an honest, upright, useful and kind-hearted citizen. He had many friends and relatives. JOHN MARTIN died on the 28th in Warren Co. Tenn, aged 109. MRS. MARY TWITTY recently died in Marshall Co. Tenn, aged 115. July 26. 1872 Married on 11 July by J. W.
