Friday the 13th, MISS MOLLIE BETTIE SPILLMAN, daughter of MR. C. G. SPILLMAN of this city aged 19; vising DR. HAYS family. October 26, 1876 Died in this city Tue. the 24, MRS. MARY J. wife of DR. J. D. FOSTER. November 2, 1876 Died at Grand Junction (Hardeman Co.), Tenn. on the 20. GEORGE GRAHAM, a former citizen of Huntsville. Remains brought to Huntsville and interred Sunday the 22nd. November 9, 1876 HENRY DELP (27 Germ; wife was ELIZ. WARE--see obit of MRS. BOYD--or this may be father of other HENRY), one of the oldest citizens of Huntsville died at his residence Thursday last the 2nd after an illness of one week. Aged about 53. Disease was congestion of the lungs. (HENRY m. ELIZ. WARE 1869 & had at least 3 chn.) November 23, 1876 "Married in this city Thursday morning last, 16 Nov. by REV. DR. BANISTER, JOHN GRIMBALL, Esq. of N.Y. City and MISS KATE MOORE of Huntsville. Married in this city Thurs. evening last 16 by REV. DR. BANISTER, CAPT. HARRY P. RYAN, assistant Supt. of M & C.R.R. to MISS ALICE, daughter of COL. JOHN VAN VALKENBURG, all of Huntsville. Died, WILLIAM I. HALSEY (30 A), one of the oldest inhabitants of this city; died at his residence on Tue. morning last in 57th year; of dropsy of the chest. Native of Huntsville.... HARRY F. CHRISTIAN died at his residence in Eastern part of the county Thursday morning last, 16th, in 41st(?) year.... MRS. ELIZABETH SYDNOR (53 V) died at the residence of her son-in-law, ISAIAH DILL (43 Pa), Esq. in this city on Thurs. Nov. 16, 1876 aged 82 years 4 months and 16 days. Native of Goochland County, Virginia and removed to and settled in Huntsville in 1820 where she lived up to the time of her death, 56 years. Presbyterian for 40 years. December 7, 1876 Married at the residence of the bride's father. MR. F. C. ESTES in this city on Thurs. 30 by REV. B. W. BUSSEY, MR. B. F. LUDWIG and MISS ANNIE A. ESTIS, all of Huntsville. At St. John's Church, Thursday by REV. HORACE STRINGFELLOW, HON R. C. BRICKELL, Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Alabama and MISS MARY B. GLENN of Montgomery.
