LEE, husband of JANE LEE, JANE MONTGOMERY, WILL BROWN, husband to SOPHIA BROWN "SOPHIA", AUSTIN CEPATA? MONTGOMERY and MARY LOWRY, infants by ROBERT AUSTIN their guardian who are the next heirs of W. C. MONTGOMERY deceased be cited to appear before the court at Athens on -- Mon of August next. August 5, 1825 Nothing (Newspaper date unknown) CLAUDIUS F. HARWOOD. Born in lower part of State of Virginia and lost her mother before she reached her third year; care of her grandmother and aunt reared her to age of 17, when she married MR. HARWOOD on 14 July 1825.... Gavie birth to a still bom child. July 7, 1826 Died on 5th, MRS. SARAH CARUTHERS of this vicinity. On 5th at residence of R. B. PURDOM, MISS RUTHER JANE 2nd daughter of ARCHIBALD RHEA of Tuscumbia in 12th year. (He married CATHERINE daughter of GEN. JOHN SEVIER) State of Alabama Madison County. Circuit Court. ROBERT PRYOR and ANNA his wife, WILLIAM KIRLY (K. copied this KIRBY in Chan-rec), HENRY KIRLY, and JAMES KIRLY versus ELIZABETH SIMPSON. SARAH KIRLY, SAMUEL BUCHANAN and wife SARAH, MICAJAH MUCKLEROY (married RACHEL SIMPSON 1815 Madison) and wife RACHEL, POLLY KERMER, MICHAEL DITTO (married PEGGY SIMPSON 1817) and wife MARGARET, WILLIAM SIMPSON, RUTH SIMPSON and JOHN SIMPSON by their guardian, ELIZABETH SIMPSON. July 21, 1826 Departed this life at her residence on 10th after a lingering and severe illness, MRS. JERUSHA consort of MR. CHARLES WILLIAMS of this county in her 39th year. Died in the vicinity of this town on 18th and 19th, MRS. ELIZABETH consort of CAPT. NICHOLAS WARE (m. SARAH E. THOMPSON 1821), and MRS. ELIZABETH (KATHLEEN then name), consort of REVD. DAVID THOMPSON. MRS. W. has left a husband and two small children; MRS. T. who only survived her daughter 33 hours, has left a husband and 6 children. In Jackson County on 11th July of pulmonary disease, MISS LOUISIANA CHEEK, youngest daughter of MR. JESSE CHEEK, JR. leaving mother, relatives and friends.... August 11, 1826 Departed this life on 4th about 8 miles Southwest of Huntsville after a very short illness, MR. GEORGE HOLLOWAY, lately from Orange County, Virginia. In prime of youth. 288 - (3588)
