Married in Williamson County, Tenn, on 24th inst., MAJOR WILLIAM LEDBETTER of Murfreesboro to MISS ELIZA A. WELBORNE. May 23 1828 Died on 17th ult. here, FRANCIS C. LEWIS on 19th year of his age. Died on 19th inst. MRS. MARTHA URQUHART, wife of DANIEL URQUHART, Esq. Left a husband and four small children. August 1, 1828 Died in Madison County on 30th of June, WILLIAM A. TOMLINSON, a native of Greensville Co. Va. in the 27th years of his age. Left wife and four small children. Died in Richmond, Va. July 9th, MATTHEW WOODSON in the 50th year of his age. August 15, 1828 Married on Thursday, the 17th inst. MR. JACOB H. PIERCE to MISS CHARLOTTE W. SIMMONS, all of Madison Co. Note: She was dau. of JOHN, who left a will in Madison Co. BRANDON is Clerk of County Court. Married on Wed. JOEL M. SLEDGE, formerly of North Carolina to MISS NANCY HILL of this county. September 12, 1828 Married on 3rd inst., ROBERT ALEXANDER to MRS. ELIZA A. McFARLAND, all of this county. Married on Aug. 28, THOMAS H. HARGRAVE to AMANDA WILLIAMS, daughter of CAPT. CHARLES WILLIAMS, all of this county. Died at Winchester, Tenn, on 30th, MRS. CAROLINE PATTON TAUL, aged 21 years and 3 months, wife of THOMAS P. TAUL, of the Bar of this place. Died on the 4th inst. HENRY, son of JOHN G. JORDAN.
