JOHN, son of ROBERT and SARAH HANCOCK, born in Lancaster District, SC and when small, his father migrated to this country. Died in 31st year. May 15, 1829 Died on 10th, MRS. MARY ROSE, wife of NEAL B. ROSE in her 46th year. Was a Methodist. Raleigh, NC papers please copy. Died on 8th, PETER FAGAN, barber and fiddler. May 22, 1829 Married May 15, DR. MILES S. WATKINS of Huntsville to MISS SALLY D. B. SHELBY of Sumner Co. (Tenn). June 19, 1829 Died 17th, ROBERT THOMPSON in 76th year. Was a Revolutionary soldier; bom in Amelia County, Va. Emigrated to Petersburg, Ga. Died at Bellmina, Ala. at residence of THOMAS BIBB. July 24, 1829 Candidate for Commissioner of Roads and Revenue--GEORGE T. JONES. July 31, 1829 Died on 16th in Limestone Co. EDWARD H. LEWIS, a native of Virginia. Died in Tuscumbia on 30th at residence of her son-in-law, CAPT. L(UKE) HOWARD, MRS. HARRIET BROOKE, late of Prince George County. Md. in her 48th year. Catholic (LUKE HOWARD m. 1824 HARRIET BROOKE. She was widow of HENRY BROOKE.) August 28, 1829 Married Wed. H(IRAM) A. G. ROBERTS to MISS EMILY E. JONES, both of Limestone. September 4, 1829 Died Aug. 25th, THOMAS P. TAUL, Esq. in 27th year. He was born in Wayne County, Ky. March 7, 1803. October 9, 1829 Married Oct. 1, HOWEL D. EASON to MRS. MAYS, all of this county. Died on 7th inst. MRS. JANE E. BARBER, consort of ELIAS BARBER in her 23rd year. Left two small children. (One ELIAS BARBER was in 1850 Census Jefferson Co. Ala. ae 51 b Va.) January 3, 1833 JOHN F. GILLESPIE, of Natchez, Mississippi, advertises for runaway slave. LARKIN VENABLE of Moulton (Lawrence County, Ala) also advertises for runaway slave. Notice of taxes due, by A. A. ROWAN, Tax Collector of Madison Co. Land for sale, by ROBERT DORTCH; White Sulphur Springs in Morgan Co. Ala, twenty four cabbins, dining room 60 x 30, tavern with four large rooms, etc. Advertisement: Armstead's Castor Oil, $2.00 per gallon by IRBY and SMITH, followed by statement that the castor oil manufactured by MR R.
