July 18, 1833 Died on 28th after protracted illness of 9 months, MRS. ELIZABETH NOWLIN, wife of JAMES P. NOWLIN of this county. Native of Hanover County, Virginia. Richmond Enquirer please copy. Died recently in New Orleans of malignant cholera, MR. WILLIAM V. CHARDAVOYNE, commission merchant of that place and formerly a resident of the city of New York. Died in New Orleans of cholera on 24th, SAMUEL DAVIS. And on 10th from sprain of the ankle at his,father's, PHILIP NEWTON DAVIS, both sons of GEORGE DAVIS of Madison Co. August 8, 1833 Married at SIMON KEMPER's on 31st ult. by SQUIRE ROGERS, ALEXANDER ROGERS to MISS SUSANNA MILLER, all of this county. Married on Wednesday evening 31st ult. by REV. ISAAC SHOOK, DR. JOHN C. SPOTSWOOD of Athens to MISS LOUISA C. CALDWELL of this place. August 15, 1833 Married at Preston's Ridge on Tuesday evening, 23rd ult. by REV. JOHN EARLY, DR. DAVID MOORE of Huntsville to MISS MARTHA L. daughter of COL. BENJAMIN HARRISON of Brunswick Co. Va. August 22, 1833 Married Tuesday evening, 13th inst. by REV. JAMES SHOOK, MR. ALBERT J. WATKINS of this county to MISS MARIA LOUISA CLIFTON of Huntsville. August 29, 1833 iMarried Wednesday evening 21st inst. by REV. JOHN M. TAYLOR. DR. ROBERT W. WITHERS of Greene County to MISS MARY D(OROTHY) M. WITHERS of Madison Co. Died 12th inst. at his residence near Randolph, Tenn, of spasmodic cholera, DR. ROBERT H. ROSE, a native of Virginia and for many years a resident of this county. DR. ROSE was well known in North Alabama. Died Wednesday, the 26th inst. in his 36th year after a protracted and painful illness, LEVIN POWELL, Esq...left a widow and one child. People of Tyscaloosa will miss him. September 5 1833 Died 22nd inst. in his 53rd year WILLIAM ROSS, living about 11 miles Southeast of Moulton, after illness of several months. Secluded farmer. Left wife and children. Died Friday morning, 30th inst. at 9 o'clock at residence at MR. DAVID PETTIS in Madison County, STANDHOP P. SMITH in his 22nd year. Left wife and aged mother, a brother and two little sisters. Editors of Athens, Ala. and Richmond, Va. copy. September 17, 1833 Died near Meridianville on 6th inst. after illness of nine days of bilious fever, ROBERT A. BELL, Esq. Tax Collector of Madison County. Left wife and several small children. Died at residence in Hickory Flat on 29th, MRS. ELIZABETH ANDREWS aged about 60. Kindly mother. Richmond Enquirer please copy. JOAB WATSON, all of this county. Also on Thursday evening, 26th inst. by same, MR. ALGERNON S. PORTER of Winchester, Tennessee to MISS MARY V. VINING, daughter of JOHN1 VINING, Esq. of this co. Married Wednesday the 16th inst near Nashville by REV. MR. GREEN, REV. JOHN B. M'FERREN of Tennessee Conference to MISS ALMIRA A. PROBART of Davidson County. Note: He was son of REV.
