October 14, 1835 Died on 28th ult. at father's residence at Hickory Grove, St. Clair County, JOHN L. P. KELLEY, son of GEORGE A. and SARAH KELLEY; left aged parents and numerous relations. Was born in Franklin County, Georgia in 1812. His parents emigrated to Madison County the same year. His father was a deacon in the Methodist Church; several other children died in infancy (Communicated). (GEO A. KELLEY's will is in DeSoto Co. Miss. 1844) Died on Friday last at the residence of MRS. BLACK in Big Prairie after illness of two or three days, MR. GEORGE A(LLEN) LEE, a respectable citizen of Hot Springs County and late from Alabama aged about 50 years (Arkansas Gazette, Sept. 22) Note: His mother was MARTHA WILKINSON & his father was JESSE LOE, Rev. soldier. Data from a descendant. State of Alabama--Jackson County. Orphans Court. Oct. 10, 1835. Estate of JESSE TRIM, deceased. Land for sale: 920 acres 4 miles south Greensborough on Warrior River. See JOHN ERWIN, Esq. of Greensborough. WILLIAM YOUNG JAMES B. DAVIS and DRURY ROBERTSON, administrators of HOLLAND DAVIS, dec'd qualified in Williamson County, Tennessee, will sell property at late residence of said DAVIS six miles east of Franklin. (Race horses, etc). Jackson County: administrator of TOBIAS WILHELMS dec'd will make final settlement. October 21, 1835 Courtland: JOHN GLAZE and JACK SHACKELFORD, executors of the will of JOHN EVANS deceased, will sell Planters Hotel etc. Jackson County: administrator of JESSE TRIM will make final settlement. Runaway slave, from WILLIAM HODGES of Lawrence County. Notice: Records of the War Dept, show MAJOR T. R. BROOM holds pension certificate issued in the name of the subscriber on 11th May 1819, and he knows not where to find said BROOM to obtain it. This is to request him to enclose it to me at Claysville, Jackson County, Ala. MAJOR BROOM is supposed to be living in Baltimore, Md. or some southern state. THOMAS T. DOTY.
