January 27, 1836 ALEXANDER RIDDLE, administrator of estate of HIRAM JACKSON, deceased. Married Thursday evening 21st inst. by REV. MR. ANDREWS, MAJ. NEIL B. ROSE to MRS. February 3, 1836 Jackson County: ALEXANDER RIDDLE, administrator with the will annexed of JAMES TURK reports estate insolvent. Died, in Florence, Ala. on the 26th instant MARY F. consort of DR. WADDY TATE of Limestone County. She was for many years...a member of the Methodist Church, her husband, three children..(edge torn) Jackson County: WILLIAM STEPHENS administrator of TOLIVER ADAMS will make final settlement. February 10, 1836 PINES R. INGRAM will continue to practice law in the courts of Jackson and Marshall Counties; will keep his office in Claysville, Marshall County. Runaway slave, from JAMES J. PALMER of Meridianville, Ala. February 17 1836 JAMES C. MARTIN, being about to remove from Huntsville. Died at Seneca Agency west of Mississippi on 31st of December, 1835 in his 50th year, CAPTAIN GEORGE VASHON, Sub-Agent to Western Cherokee Nation; native of Virginia and distinguished officer of the late war; was a Captain of the 7th Regiment of Infantry in 1815 and served as much with that Regiment until 1819 when he resigned command. Remains brought to Fort Gibson on 5th instant. February 24, 1836 WILLIAM S. WOODS and JOHN T. JONES, late of Albemarle County, Virginia, attorneys have located at Helena Arkansas and will locate and enter land etc. References WM. H. GLASSCOCK, M.D., Madison County, SEPTIMUS D. March 2 1836 Subscribers have established themselves at Gunter's Landing on south side of Tennessee River; general commission, receiving and forwarding business. EDWARD GUNTER and JOHN G. ROSS. (note: this is probably BYRAM; the BYRAMS went from Madison to Jackson and LEVI was a favorite name, coming from intermarriages with the HINDS family.) Died on Saturday, 20th inst. at residence in this place MR. RICHARD BULOCK. Had lived among us many years. Left wife and three small children. Methodist. Died Wednesday, 24th ult. after a painful illness, WILLIAM BARKER, Esq. in his 56th year of age, formerly of Fredericksburg, Virginia, but for a number of years a citizen of this place.
