WILLIS, consort of the late JOSHUA WILLIS... left six small children--devoted member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Note: She was dau of REV. ISAAC HALL. June 21, 1836 Long letter from COL. BARTLEY COX to JOHN J. McMAHON, Courtland, date New Orleans, 7 June; "We had arrived last evening from Texas and to my astonishment ISAAC HAMILTON of the Red Rovers and JAMES LAMPKINS came passengers. HAMILTON was wounded in the massacre of Shackelford's men...LAMPKINS was saved by the General of the Mexicans. LAMPKINS informs me our friend DR. SHACKELFORD was alive the 15th of May."
