On the 20th instant WILLIAM McCAY SR. an early resident of this place and well known to the old settlers of Richmond and Petersburgh, Virginia in which cities he formerly resided. He had just recovered from severe wounds received accidentally whilst travelling on a railroad near Philadelphia and survived his recent attack but a few days. On the 22nd inst.
