If HENRY NEGLEY who was a stage driver in Huntsville in 1833 or 1834 will make known his present residence to DANIEL B. TURNER, postmaster in Huntsville he will hear something to his advantage. He is a son of PHILIP NEGLEY formerly of Mercer Co. Ky and is believed now to reside in the southern or middle part of the state of Alabama. Notice: Mortgage by DANIEL W. February 23, 1839 Died at his residence near Eddyville (Kentucky) on Sunday the 27th of January 1839 GEN. MATTHEW LYON in his 46th year. Left widow and six children; native of Rutland County, Vermont and emigrated to this county in 1801 with his father COL. MATTHEW LYON dec'd. for many years a member of congress from Vermont and this state. Has been for many years postmaster at Eddyville and for the last twenty years a member of the County Court (Princeton Examiner). Married on Wednesday evening the 13th instant by the REV. B. S. McFARLANE executor of the last will and testament of JAMES McFARLANE will make final settlement. Marshall County. JOHN 0. FEEMSTER, administrator of ELI R. FEEMSTER dec'd reports estate insolvent. Marshall County: WILLIAM GRIFFIN and JOHN 0. FEEMSTER, executors and SARAH GRIFFIN, executrix of the last will and testament of JOHN GRIFFIN dec'd will make final settlement. March 2, 1839 Died, at his residence in this county, the venerable JOHN DRAKE aged 91 years. He was a soldier of the Revolution. He removed from Virginia and settled near this place many years ago...member of the Baptist Church... left a large family connexion...The Fincastle Democrat will please copy the above. Died on the 21st of January at his residence near Meridianville in his 62nd year MR. JOSEPH SALE, an old and respectable inhabitant of this county to which he removed from the state of Georgia in 1814. Died on the 18th ult. at Van Buren, Marshall County, MRS. SUSAN McFARLANE, consort of WALTER P. McFARLANE, in the 24th year of her age... fever. If THEODORIC RAGSDALE will make known his residence to the subscriber in Madison County, Ala. or to WILLIAM S. NIBLETT of Virginia he will learn of a legacy coming to him from the estate of his grandfather, WILLIAM NIBLETT dec'd. Said RAGSDALE is a son of PETER RAGSDALE, late of Athens, Limestone Co. Ala.
