November 28, 1840 Died at his residence in Jonesborough, Jefferson County on the morning of Tuesday the 21st of October, 1840 of the prevalent fever of the country after an illness of four weeks DR. JOHN T. SEABORN in the 45th year of his age. He was a native of the town of Guilford, New Hampshire and had been a resident of Jonesborough about a year. Left amiable wife, son, and little daughter. The New Hampshire Patriot and State Gazette will please copy the above. The Alabama State Association of Teachers will hold their first semi-annual meeting at Benton, Lowndes Co. on the 29th of December. M. L. GRAY, Recording Secretary. CLOYD was an exemplary member of the Presbyterian church for the last 26 years. Was an affectionate wife and one of the kindest and best of mothers...The Richmond Enquirer and Fincastle Democrat will please insert the above. Died at the residence of her uncle MR. JOHN M. ROWLETT in the County of Lunenberg, Virginia, on the 18th of Sentember 1840 MISS LOUISIANA P. HARDING daughter of FRANCES and JOHN HARDING, aged 22 years.
