WALKER, heirs of said deceased are nonresidents . March 24 1847 Died Friday last, JOHN HAMBLEN, an old and highly respectable citizen of this county. March 31, 1847 Departed this life on the 24th inst. ROBERT WRIGHT, SR., a patriot of the Revolution aged 85 years and 17 days. Native of Amherst County, Virginia. Was at the seige of York and assisted in the capture of CORNWALLIS. Emigrated to Madison Co. Ala. in 1818 where he continued to reside until the day of his death, greatly esteemed and beloved by large circle of friends and acquaintances. Southern Advocate and Richmond Enquirer copy. Departed this life in this county, JOHN HAMBLEN aged 80 years 1 month and 19 days. Born in Virginia and from thence he removed to East Tennessee and became a resident of this state and county many years since, where he has resided, beloved and respected by his fellow citizens... (MR. PRENTISS PRICE says "JOHN HAMBLEN mar.Huntsville 1834. He was born 1760-70 & took off for Ala in 1807 leaving wife HANNAH b 1768 in Hawkins Co. & also son THOMAS b 1788. ^HANNAH was alive in Hawkins. I think JOHN had another family in Ala'.' He certainly did! His will names wife MARGARET, sons SAM'L & JOHN; daus ELIZABETH BISHOP. SARAH BISHOP, SUSANNAH MOREL & 4 grandchildren, sons of JOHN.) March 31, 1847 Departed this life--P-OBERT WRIGHT on 24th, a Patriot of the Revolution aged 85 years and 17 days. He was a native of Amherst Co. Va. emigrated to Madison Co. in 1808. Departed this life at his residence in this county, JOHN HAMBLEN aged 80 years 1 month 19 days. Born in Va. and from thence removed to East Tenn, and became a resident of this State and county many years since, where he has resided beloved and respected by his fellow citizens. Died near Somerville, Morgan Co. Ala. on Wed. 26th Mar. the infant daughter of WILLIAM P. and MARY L. TERRY aged 3 mo 16 days. Chancery Court of Morgan Co. Ala.--SUSAN WEST by next friend WILLIAM A.
