Died, on the 20th, suddenly, MRS. EDITH (69 NC) SCRUGGS, mother of MRS. 0. D. SLEDGE, of this place, in her 80th year. On the 4th instant JOHN H. McCRAVEY (should be McCRARY; 12 A), son of MR. BENJAMIN McCRAVEY (45 G) of this place. In Decatur, Alabama on the 3rd instant, MRS. ELIZA ALLEN LOCKE (48 V), aged 58 years. February 22, 1860 Married, in Somerville, Ala. on the 9th instant by HON. GREEN P. RICE, Judge of the Probate Court, MR. THOMIS C. WELCH (13 A; CHRISTOPHER A.) to MISS MARY C. FOWLER (8A; JOHN), all of that place. On the 9th instant in Rogersville, Ala. by D. W. HARAWAY, Esq., MR. FELIX TROUSDALE to MISS MARTHA J. WEAVER. At the WORSHAM House, on the 16th instant by REV. DR. DAVIS, MR. C. C. DUBOSE of LaFayette Co., Ark., to MISS LUCY A. Died, in Coffeeville, Clarke County, Alabama on the 14th instant MRS. ELIZABETH WALKER FIGURES (63 G; Clarke Co--daughter of THOS & ELIZ (WALKER) COLEMAN), wife of MAJOR THOMAS FIGURES (63 NC) and mother of the Editor of the Southern Advocate, in the 74th year ot her age. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her aged companion through a lifelong pilgrimage, eventful and arduous, lingers disconsolate, and her children and descendants will revere her memory. Died, on Monday, March 12th, MRS. MARTHA EASON (32 V; d of WM. POWERS; m. 1835). wife of ALOUIN EASON (37 NC) of the vicinity of Huntsville. On the 6th instant MRS. FRANCES LANDMAN (72 Va), mother of MRS. J. H. BEADLE of this place, in the 87th year of her age--Methodist. (tombstone b 1773 Campbell Co. Va., d Mar. 7, 1860; DOROTHY JOHNSON says she was FRANCES LOUISE MOORE; she was wid of WM. LANDMAN--see his will & Minor's Reports). In Limestone County on the 3rd instant, JAMES F. JOHNSTON (51 G), aged 61. On the 1st instant, HALEY DUPREE of the same county, aged 70 years. On the 5th instant, MRS. CATHERINE R. J.
