Obituary: Communicated. A dear and beloved friend once a resident of Huntsville, died suddenly of paralysis on the 21st ult. at Nashville, Tenn., MATILDA G. R., wife of MR. SAM D. MORGAN. Resolutions of Respect by the Mayor and Aidermen of Huntsville on the death of JAMES GASTON (19 A) who for a long period of his life was a faithful and efficient officer of the Corporation of Huntsville. On the 21st instant in Jackson County AMELIA SKELTON (43 T), wife of ROBERT B. SKELTON, Esq. in the 49th year of her age. (MRS. PROCTOR of Scottsboro says this AMELIA was AMELIA VANCE & said to be daughter of 1 of Governors of N.C.) On the 18th instant in Jackson County ROBERT B. SKELTON (47 G) in the 57th year of his age. August 29, 1860 Married on the 20th instant by ELDER JOHN CHASTAIN, MR. JOHN SCOTT to MISS SARAH ANN CAMPBELL. On the same day at the residence of JOHN IRBY, Esq. by the same, MR. ALFRED CAMPBELL to MISS ELLEN IRBY (13 A; JUS W) , all of this county. On the 23rd instant by REV. J. ELLIOTT, WM. A. ATKINS to MISS MARTHA G. GILES, both of this county. On the 22nd instant by REV. D. PISE, FRANK JAY McLEAN, Esq. of Kentucky to MISS SUE A. PILLOW, only daughter of MAJOR G. A. PILLOW of Maury Co. Tenn. Died, on the 13th instant MRS. JANE McGAHA, wife of G. W. McGAHA aged 26. On the 26th instant CHARLES WILLIE, infant son of DR. HOLBERT S. and FANNIE P. DAVIS, aged 10 months, 24 days. September 5, 1860 Married on the 23rd ult. by JOHN R. FLANNAGAN, MR. P. C. McBRIDGE (McBRIDE) to MISS SARAH E. FOOTE (14; WM), all of Lawrence County. On the 22nd ult. in Chattanooga, Tenn, by REV. J. N. BRADSHAW, MR. T. F. MARTIN of Huntsville to MISS JENNIE MARTIN of West Tennessee. September 12, I860 Died on the 18th ult. of consumption in Coffeeville, Clarke Co., Ala. MISS MARGARET T.
