April 10, 1878 Died in this city Sun. morning Apr. 7 of pneumonia, MR. JOHN HUEY, an old citizen aged about 75. MR. HUEY was an Irishman by birth and came to Huntsville to reside about 1835 afterwards married here and has made his record as a man of sterling integrity, a faithful and devoted husband and father and an humble, upright Christian, Presbyterian, mason. Died in this city Tue. eve. Apr. 9, after a long and lingering illness from paralysis, MRS. CATHERINE MOLONEY aged about 77. Sister of COL. J. J. DONE and MRS. WEAKLEY and has resided in Huntsville for many years.... Roman Catholic Church. April 17, 1878 Died Apr. 12, MR. GEORGE SHOENBERGER. Born in Glarus, Switzerland 1820. Aged 58. Assassinated. Died in this city on Sat. Apr. 12 of lockjaw, MRS. NARCISSA C. BALDRIDGE, wife of DR. M. C. BALDRIDGE aged about 43. Cumberland Presbyterian. In this city Apr. 12 after a short illness, MRS. CAROLINE JOLLY, widow of the late BENJAMIN JOLLY aged about 60 years. Presbyterian. April 24, 1878 Obituary: MR. GEORGE SHOENBERGER born in Switzerland May 8, 1820. Married Mar. 1871 MRS. FANNIE DAVIS (who had been MISS STRONG). His mother died in Switzerland several years since, his father more recently, while a brother and sister with families survive in Switzerland.... McCLELLAN, daughter of the late CHARLES STRONG of Madison Co. Died in Huntsville May 15, MRS. LOUISA A. HEREFORD, wife of CHARLES W. HEREFORD and daughter of FREDERICK ELGIN aged 42.
