March 20, 1819 DR. JOHN A. GREEN, having become a resident of Madison County tenders his professional service to the public. He may be consulted at the house of DR. WILLIAM B. GREEN two miles above Three Forks of Flint River on the road leading to Winchester (Tennessee). Dissolution of partnership of WILLIS H. BREWER and RICHARD RIS0N--gin making business. April 3, 1819 Married on the 18th by REV. MR. DAVIS, MR. SAMUEL HAZARD of Philadelphia to MISS ABBY C. HETFIELD of Elizabethtown, New Jersey, (see marriage record in Volume 147, page 7--in which her name appears as "HITCHFIELD.") Died on the 25th instant in this town, JOHN BUTLER, late a soldier in the 13th Regiment of the United States Infantry. An Irishman by birth, a shoemaker by trade and about 30 years of age. His heirs, if any there are in the United States or representatives can have his patent for military bounty land by applying to the Postmaster of Huntsville, Alabama Territory. It is said he has a sister living in Saratoga County, New York but he was last from Fincastle County, Virginia. His death was caused by a shot received in a fray three weeks ago, since which time he has been delirious and unable to give any account of his relations or affairs. The Editors of newspapers in New York and Virginia may do the heirs of Butler a service by inserting the above notice. April 17 1819 Died suddenly on the 12th instant, CAPTAIN NATHAN JONES, late of Surry County, Virginia in the 74th year of his age. (Rev. sol--q.v.) April 24, 1819 Limestone County, Alabama--Orphan's Court. Letters of administration on the estate of BENJAMIN C. BENHAM, deceased, granted to JOHN CUNNINGHAM and JOHN MONTGOMERY. March Term 1819. EBENEZER TITUS has settled in Huntsville and will practice law. May 29 1819 Slave stolen from WILLIAM BROWN on the 8th instant living on Richland Creek, Giles County, Tennessee. June 5, 1819 Married on Tuesday last by REV. MR. BURRUS, MR. ROBERT A. BELL (son of HENRY, Rev. sol), merchant of this place to MISS MARTHA WATKINS (volume 100, page 3), daughter of MR. ISHAM WATKINS of this county. At Nashville (Tennessee) on the 27th instant by REV. MR. HUME, MR. SAMUEL CRUSE, merchant of Huntsville to MISS HARRIET MARIA COLEMAN, daughter of the late CAPT. JOSEPH COLEMAN of the former place. June 12, 1819 Married on Thursday, the 3rd instant, CAPT. BOWLER ("BOWLES" in Bible Record) FARISS to MRS. SARAH BROWN, both of Giles County, Tennessee.
