February 13, 1875 Died in this city on 9th of pulmonary consumption, MRS. HATTIE M. IRBY, wife of MR. P. M. IRBY aged about 38. Baptist. In this city after a brief illness, GEORGE S. WILSON (26 in England) aged 50. Native of Chesterfield, England but since 1848 has resided in this place. Died near Mobile December 23, 1874, ALEXIS H. TARDY, native of Mobile aged 31.... Left a widow and orphaned little ones and a brokenhearted father. March 6, 1875 Married near Winchester, Tennessee on 23 by REV. A. A. ALLISON, MR. JOHN L. GRAHAM of Meridianville and MISS ELLA P. COOVER of the former place. March 20, 1875 HON. ROBERT S(TITH) SPRAGINS (26 in Alabama) is dead. Died at his residence in this city Sunday evening last, the 14th instant in his 53rd year. Left a widow and four children. Elected Circuit Court Clerk for Madison County in 1848, which held til the close of the war. Then he practiced law. Then was Probate Judge. March 25, 1875 MRS. N. 0. BLACKBOURN, wife of the late FRANCIS BLACKBOURN died at the residence of her son-in-law. HON. F. L. HAMMOND in Madison County, Alabama March 13, 1875. Maiden name was ROLFE and she was born in Virginia 1797. Married in early life and soon after removed to Madison County, Alabama. Lady of purest and noblest life. Kind and affectionate. Mother of 5 children. FRANK died young; three survive her, a son and two daughters. Her oldest daughter, wife of F. L. HAMMOND died years ago leaving three children. From her two granddaughters she would never consent to separate long at a time.... After the eldest sister reached her from middle Alabama, neither left her until saw her deposited in the grave.... April 8, 1875 Died Wednesday 31 March 1875 at her residence 3 miles west of Vienna in Madison County, MRS. JANE McMILLAN (48 in Georgia, wife of WM.) aged 74 years and 11 days. April 15, 1875 Died in this city, LILEA LEE, daughter of JOHN and ELLEN FARISS. April 22 1875 Died in Woodland, Freestone County, Texas January 23, 1875, MRS. CHILDRESS, wife of W. P. CHILDRESS. Daughter of JONATHON (had brother GREEN) and KATY COLLIER of this county where she was born and raised. Tribute of respect to memory of DR. H. A. BINFORD by physicians and druggists. May 13, 1875 Died at the residence of her father near Meridianville in this county on the 3rd, MISS POCAHONTAS, daughter of JOHN M. ELDRIDGE, Esq. She was a young lady of sweet disposition and endowed with many of womanly and Christian graces, which won the love and esteem of all who knew her. Married in this city on 6th by REV. R. M. TINNON, MR. HENRY FORD and MRS. I. M. HAWKINS. Married on the 6th, MR. C. S. LUCAS and MISS ELLA WILLIAMS. In Iuka (Tishomingo County), Mississippi on the 4th, MR. B. F.
