February 27, 1829 Married on Tuesday evening last by REV. MR. DONNELL, MR. WILLIAM DICKSON LANIER of this county to MISS LUCY ANN CALDWELL of this town (volume 155, page 15) Died lately at his residence in this county at an advanced age, MR. REUBEN SIMMONS. Was well known in this place and universally esteemed.... Left a numerous train of children and grandchildren... March 13, 1829 Died in the vicinity of Courtland (Lawrence County) on the 25th ult. MRS. ANTOINETTE SWOOPE, consort of J. K. SWOOPE, merchant of that town and daughter of COL. BENJAMIN SHERROD of Lawrence County. She was well known in this town where she completed her education a few short years ago.... THOMAS B. TUNSTALL, attorney-at-law DUDLEY CURLE, attorney-at-law ROBERT M. RICHARDS states he is not responsible for the debts of his wife, ELIZABETH H. RICHARDS, she having left his bed and board. March 20, 1829 Married on the 11th instant at Flower Hill near Winchester, Tennessee by REV. MR. HENDERSON, MR. THOMAS RAWLINS, merchant of Danville, Virginia to the amiable and accomplished MISS EMILY D., youngest daughter of WILLIAM HAUGHTON, formerly of Madison County. Died in this town at the residence of MR. WILLIAM H. T. BROWN, JOHN W. CHRISTIAN, Esq. in his 28th year. Native of Charles City County, Virginia, from whence he emigrated three years ago, to this county. Graduate of WILLIAM and MARY and he qualified himself for profession of law. March 27, 1829 Died on the 6th instant at his residence in Madison County, MR. LEWELLEN JONES, formerly of Buckingham County, Virginia. Richmond Enquirer please copy. April 17, 1829 Married on Thursday the 9th instant by REV. JOHN M'CLURE, MR. JOHN G. WARD to MISS SALLY H. CLARK, all of this county (volume 153, page 27) On Wednesday evening the 8th instant by REV. MR. NICHOLAS, MR. ABNER G. PETTY of Limestone County to MISS MALVINA M., daughter of WILLIAM G. LONG of this county. Died lately at his residence in Morgan County, GEN. THOMAS D. CRABB. For many years an estimiable citizen of that county and lately a Senator from that county in the Legislature of the State April 24, 1829 Information wanted: THOMAS HAY, a native of Ireland, at present aged about 28 years, has not been heard of by his brother for some time past. The last letter received, dated July 28, 1825 stated he was teaching school in Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama. In 1824, he was teaching school in Georgia. He has been in the United States about 7 years. May 1, 1829 Married Tuesday evening last by REV. THOMAS M. KING, MR. JOHN F. MILLS to MISS CALEDONIA R., eldest daughter of THOMAS BRANDON, Esq. all of this place (volume 48, page 12) May 15 1829 Died at his residence in this county, near Hazel Green, DAVID M'COA (M'CAA) aged 64. Left a wife and nine children. Member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. May 29, 1829 Married Friday last. May 15, by REV. WILLIAM HUME, DOCT. MILES S.
