ACKLEN of Huntsville, Sheriff of Madison County to MISS HAMLET H. CASH. October 22, 1831 Married Tuesday evening 18th instant by REV. JOHN B. McFERRIN, MR. WILLIAM WITHROW to MISS MARY ANN MORRISS, all of this county. Married on Thursday evening last by REV. J. B. McFERRIN, MR. LEWIS M.-KENNARD to MISS CATHARINE SPENCE, daughter of MRS. JANE SPENCE all of this place. ------------------> Died on morning of 15th instant, MRS. HARRIET MOORE, wife of DR. DAVID MOORE of this county, daughter of the late JUDGE HAYWOOD of Tennessee, formerly of North Carolina and was bom in the latter state on 23rd day of April, 1790. Educated in most approved schools of her native state. Remains will be entombed in the family burying ground of REV. JOHN MOORE, father of her husband. November 19, 1831 Married on Wednesday evening last, 16th instant by REV. JAMES ROWE, MR. STERLING STAINBACK of Huntsville to MRS. MARIA F. PATTIE, daughter of MR. HARRISON OWENS of this county. Married on Wednesday evening, 9th instant at the residence of MR. JOHN S. BROOKS in Morgan County, MR. WILLIAM B. PATTON to MISS ELIZABETH LEWIS, all of said county. Died at Courtland, on 3rd Instant, after illness of many months, MRS. MARIA D. BLUNT in 23rd year, wife of MR. HENRY R. BLUNT of that place and daughter of MR. BENJAMIN M. WILLIAMS of Marengo County. Died on 28th ult. MRS. ISABELLA WATKINS, consort of MR. JAMES C. WATKINS in her 26th year. December 10 1831 Married in this place Thursday evening, 1st instant, by REV. THOMAS M. KING, MR. HENRY JORDAN to MISS MARIA A. GLASGOW, all of this county. Married Thursday evening, 24th November by REV. DR. DELANEY, CHARLES INGERSOLL to SUSAN CATHARINE, only daughter of the late DR. SAMUEL BROWN of Alabama. Died in Nashville, Tennessee a few days since, MR. ERNEST BENOIT, for many years a respectable citizen of this place. Note: His wife was FRANCES, daughter of HENRY and ELIZ. BELL. FRANCES bom October 1, 1795. December 17, 1831 Married Wednesday evening last by REV. JOHN H. THOMPSON, MR. SIMEON DOUGLASS of Mooresville to MISS MARY W. BROWN, daughter of HENRY BROWN of this county. Died at his residence in this county on 5th instant HUME R. FIELD, in 59th year of age, formerly Judge of County Court of Tuscaloosa and for several years president trustee of University of Alabama. 474 - (3774)
