March 28, 1845 Married on Thursday, 20th instant by REV. P. B. ROBINSON, MR. AARON H. H. ROUNTREE, formerly of Illinois to MISS ELIZA A. WALPOLE of this place. April 4, 1845 Died at the residence of ROBERT G. McMAHON, Gainesville, Sunday, March 16th instant COL. ANDREW BEIRNE of Monroe County, Virginia in his 74th year. He was a native of Ireland and landed in New York about 1791.... Died in Huntsville on 2nd instant MISS MARGARET RUSSEL aged about 50 years and 2 months. Died on Sunday last, ALBERT, son of CAPTAIN FRED ELGIN of this place--a promising boy. THEOPHILUS SKINNER aged 65 years, formerly of the State Legislature and a zealous minister. Died in Walker County on 14th instant CAPT. JACOB PRUETT, formerly of this county, aged about 80.
