September 11, 1846 Married in Franklin County, Tennessee on 10 by JOHN THOMAS SLATTER, Esq. MR. WILLIAM WILHOITE to MISS -----LITTLE, daughter of JOSEPH LITTLE, Esq. September 25, 1846 RODAH HORTON departed this life on Thursday the 10th in 54th year. A Virginian by birth and removed to (from) Russell County to this place in 1817. Twice married and left a large family.... October 9, 1846 Died on Sunday night MR. ROBERT HAMLET aged 84 years. One of oldest settlers and a native of North Carolina. Left a wife and several children. On Tuesday last of apoplectic fit, MR. CLACK LIGHTFOOT an old and very much esteemed citizen. Died on 22nd, MR. GRANVILLE L. COOKRELL (COCKRILL?) of Tuscumbia. At La Grange on 25th, MRS. ELIZABETH HART. (note: MR. JAMES says her tombstone says she died on 25th August) Died in Dekalb County on 22, HON. SOLOMON C. SMITH, formerly of this county, Represented Dekalb County for several years. Methodist. Left wife and 6 children. In Limestone County on 13, MR. GEORGE DAVIS aged 83. In Lauderdale County on 22, MR. JOHN LORANCE aged 60. October 16, 1846 Died in Morgan County on 19, MRS. MARY E. NEVILL aged 21 years. On 29th, MR. JAMES K. EDMONDSON of Decatur aged 37 and on 10th MR. W. B. GREGORY aged 47 of Morgan County. October 29, 1846 Died in Franklin County on 2 of consumption, DANDRIDGE B. SPENCE of this county. Died at his residence in this county on 7th, ROBERT DAVIE in his 89th year (rev sol qr) Died on 5th at his residence near Huntsville, ROBERT HAMLET, S (faded) native of Virginia and one of oldest citizens. November 5, 1846 Died in Baltimore, Maryland on Sunday 18th October EDWARD ANDERSON aged 49-10-12. Native of Montgomery County, Maryland who resided many years in this county; late of Oktibeha County, Mississippi. In Madison county on Friday 29th, MARY CAMP, daughter of JAMES B. and INDIANA S. TURNER aged 4 years 6 months. On 16th, at his residence in Mullins' Flat, Madison County LEWIS HERRALD aged 76 years, native of North Carolina. Married on 28th by REV. P. B. ROBINSON, MR. ROBERT S. NANCE to MISS MATILDA D. SALE, daughter of CAPT. D. SALE, all of Madison County. November 19, 1846 Departed this life on 15th, SUSAN BLUNT, daughter of JAMES and INDIANA S. TURNER of Missouri aged 8 years 8 months. Departed this life on night of Monday 9th at residence of her mother in immediate vicinity of this town, MRS. SARAH JEMIMA HILL consort of MR. ROBERT HILL and second daughter of MRS. SUSAN POLLARD aged 20 years 14 days. November 26, 1846 Departed this life on 29 October 1846 at residence of her daughter MRS. MARY S. LANIER of this county, LOUISA McCRAB in her 78th year. Departed this life on Tuesday 17th after few days painful illness , JOHN BLUNT TURNER, 2nd son of MAJ. JOHN B.
