May 8, 1850 Died at his father's residence in this county on 15th after a long and protracted illness, HENRY MARTIN in 25th year of his age. May 29, 1850 Died on 25 at his residence in Macon, DR. ARCHIBALD M. CLEMENS, a resident physician of that place aged about 33. Native of Madison County.... June 5, 1850 Died in Tuscaloosa on 16, CAPT. JOHN PHELAN, for many years a citizen of Huntsville. In Nashville on 28th ult., MRS. MARTHA MEAD in her 66th year, formerly of this place. (HARRIS book says aged 61) June 12, 1850 Died in Talladega County on 27, COL. MICAH TAUL, formerly of Franklin County, Tennessee. In Tishomingo County, Mississippi on 28th, CAPT. HENRY COOK, many years ago a resident of Huntsville. June 17, 1850 Died in Limestone County, Alabama, May 8, 1850, MRS. MARY LOUISA BINFORD aged 20 years. United to THOMAS BINFORD, Esq. in marriage July 29, 1849. Member of M. E. Church.... Married on 8th, MR. JOHN L. VERNON to MISS ELIZABETH E. CRAWFORD, both of Limestone. On 9th, MR. EDMUND J. WRIGHT (26 in Alabama) of Lawrence to MISS MARY E. COPELAND (15 in Alabama) of Limestone. On 12 by REV. J. C. ELLIOTT, MR. JOSHUA 0. KELLY (23 in Alabama; son of DAVID (census)) to MISS SARAH B. daughter of MR. CHARLES STRONG (15 in Alabama), all of this county. July 3 1850 Died of cholera at Shelbyville, Tennessee on 11th while returning home from New Orleans, MRS. LUCINDA WYCHE, consort of DR. JOHN F. WYCHE of Madison County, Alabama in her 48th year. Professed religion 1823, M. E. Church. Left a husband and 6 children. Her remains were brought immediately home and entered in the family burying ground of her father, the late MAJOR DANIEL WRIGHT. Died in Huntsville June 22, 1850, ENOCH ELLIOTT, who was bom 7th' of July 1775 in Randolph County, North Carolina. In early life he was associated with Quaker church in which church he was a member till the year 1809, at which time he emigrated to the State of Tennessee, Maury County. In the year 1818, he settled in Tuscaloosa in this State in which place he united himself with the M. E. Church. In the year 1838 he became a resident of Huntsville, Alabama where he spent his last days.... Aged 74-11-15. Left a wife and a number of children. Tuscaloosa papers please copy. Died in the 2nd instant of congestive fever, at his residence in this county, RANDOLPH SULLIVAN, Esq. in his 63rd year. Native of South Caroline, Lawrence District and emigrated to this State in the fall of 1816 and pitched his tent at his late residence.... Left a widow and large family of children. July 10, 1850 Died in the vicinity of Huntsville on 28 ult. JAMES STREET aged about 28 years.... July 19, 1850 Married on 27 by REV. S. R. CALDWELL, MR. WM. MATKINS of this vicinity to MRS. MARGARET A. TATE of Limestone. July 26, 1850 Died on 17th in this place after a painful illness, COL. BENJAMIN HARRISON aged about ----- years, a native of Virginia, but for many years a citizen of this county. Most amiable, upright, worthy man and much esteemed by all who knew him. Died in Eutaw on 16, COL. H(ILLIARD) M. JUDGE aged 32 and on 18th, HON. ALEXANDER GRAHAM. 502 - (3802)
