On 24, MR. JAMES M. ALLISON to MRS. MARTHA NEIL, all of Tuscumbia. Alabama. Died in Galveston, Texas on 9, MRS. ELIZA ANN, wife of MR. W. T. M. SMITHSON, formerly of this place aged 34. October 9, 1850 Married on Wednesday morning the 2nd, by REV. E. C. SLATER, MR. ROBERT J. HART to MISS MARY E. daughter of MR. JOHN HALSEY this vicinity. On 3rd, JAMES JACKSON, Esq. (Lauderdale County), to MISS ELIZABETH PERKINS (18 in Tennessee), all of Lauderdale. Died on 3rd near Whitesburg, GEORGE McLEOD, Esq. an old and respectable citizen of this county. Died near Pulaski, Tennessee on 19 September after a severe and protracted illness of 4 weeks, MR. ISAAC SKILLERN in his 63rd year, (letter from MRS. ETHELMSE CARTER, Minneapolis, Minnesota 1961--"ISAAC CAMPBELL SKILLERN died September 18, 1850--moved from Lee County, Virginia about 1832. Her ancestor was a MR. EATHERLY who married MISS SKILLERN whose daughter SUSANNAH EATHERLY bom 1801 Tennessee, Davidson County, MR. JOS. GULLIFORD) Born in the State of Virginia and removed to this place in the year 1817, where he was long a merchant noted for industry and business integrity. In the spring of 1848, he removed to this county and settled near Pulaski, Tennessee where he remained until his death. Presbyterian. Kind husband and father. October 30, 1850 Married on 17, MR.
