Died on 27, ROBERT MICAJAH, infant of MR. and MRS. WM. McBRANDON. In Selma on 9th at residence of her father, COL. P. J. WEAVER, MRS. MARY BLEVINS, wife of MR. WM. A. BLEVINS aged 23. On 17, MISS ANN MARIA HENDRICKS aged 17. On same day, MRS. ELIZA SKEETERS wife of WILLIAM SKEETERS, JR. aged 17 all of Limestone. On 20, MR. ELIJAH HOBGOOD (54 in North Carolina) an old citizen of Franklin County. In Nashville, on 23, MR. CHARLES B. PERCY, formerly of this place and had many virtues and many friends. November 20, 1850 Married on Wednesday evening the 6th at the residence of JUDGE PRICE in Somerville by REV. J. LEROY HARRIS, DR. JAS. M. JACKSON (23 in Tennessee) to MISS A. E(LIZA) D. WILKINSON (21 in Alabama), both residents of that place. On the 7th, by REV. GABRIEL MOORE, DR. J. N. BLEDSOE of this place to MISS AMANDA M. PARVIN of Bourbon County, Kentucky. In Lawrence County, Alabama at the residence of J. H. S. DONNEL on 7th by REV. DAVID BRIDENTHALL, HON. TRUMAN SMITH, Senator in Congress from Connecticut to MISS M. A. DICKINSON, formerly of Litchfield, Connecticut. On 7th, DR. SAMUEL D. DELOATE to MRS. ELIZABETH S. CLAIBOURNE (daughters of JAS N.) and on same day, MR. SAMUEL TILLMAN (21 in Alabama) to MISS CORNELIA F. NOEL (16 in Alabama, daughter of JAS.,sister), all of Lauderdale. Died at his residence in Huntsville on 17th, DR. FRED JONES aged about 50 years, after a few days illness. Bom and raised in North Carolina. Educated at Chapel Hill. For some years was a resident of Tennessee in the year 1816, became a resident of Huntsville, Alabama. From Huntsville, he removed to Mississippi where he passed several years in practice of his profession and then moved back to Huntsville. Left a large and respectable family. On 3rd of influenza or cold at his residence in Big Cove, Madison County, Alabama, HARRY BUFORD (HARVY in another record; HENRY in census; 69 in Virginia) in 71st year. Bom in Virginia and emigrated to this country in early day and settled on the plantation where he died.... On 13, MR. JAMES NOEL (70 in Virginia) of Florence. On 11th, MR. T. LACY aged 24 of Limestone County. In Tuscaloosa on 29, at advanced age of 80, HON. MARMADUKE WILLIAMS, long and favorably known in political history of Alabama. November 27 1850 Married on Tuesday evening the 19th by REV. W. D. F. SAWRIE, MR. GEO. W. YUCKLEY to MISS MARY R. C. CHEWNING, all of this county. On 14. near Hillsboro (Lawrence County), Alabama by REV. DR. ROBINSON, DR. ALEXANDER A. WALL of Madison to MISS AMANDA M. ROSS (20 in Alabama; ELIZ). On 7th, MR. HARVEY N. JIMASON (18 in Alabama) of Lawrence to MISS MARTHA A. MITCHELL of Franklin. On 13th, MR. JAMES J. HOGG of Tuscumbia to MRS. MARTHA J. SCOGGIN of Louisville, Kentucky. On 14th, MR. W. E. HOKE to MISS MARY P. THOMPSON, both of Limestone. Died in Tuscumbia on 15, MRS. DOLLY B. PRYOR of this place aged 62 years. On 17, in same place, REUBEN TONEY (23 in Alabama) aged 23. December 4, 1850 Died on 27 after a short illness, MR. SAMUEL HATTON aged about 52 years. Native of North Carolina, but has resided in this county for last 30 years. Kind hearted citizen, amiable man, a good citizen and death much regretted. Died at his father's residence in Big Cove, Madison County, Alabama CLEMENT CLAY (1833-50) SCHRIMSHER in 18th year.... December 11, 1850 Died in Decatur, on 1st, MRS. ELIZABETH S. ROGERS (30 in Virginia) aged 30 years wife of DR. G(EO) W. A. ROGERS (45 in Virginia). Baptist. 505 - (3805)
