SARAH ANN LEEDY aged about 30, wife of LORENZO D. LEEDY, formerly of this place. Died in Limestone County on the 18th instant MRS. AGNESS WILLIAMS, aged about 70. (Goodspeed's Miss Memoirs--AUGUSTA HOPKINS bom about 1834 in Huntsville, Alabama; daughter of ARTHUR F. HOPKINS (bom about 1801, Justice of Supreme Court of Alabama). She married 1851 JOHN W. RICE born about 1815 in Chester District, South Carolina; son of JOHN S. and NANCY (HERNDON) RICE. JOHN W. moved to Alabama, Captain in Mexican War. Moved to Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. He died 1857. Their son DR. ARTHUR H. RICE bom in Talladega County, Alabama August 21, 1852 married FANNIE M. SMITH 1879; lived in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi 1891.) Died on the 27th instant in her 27th year, VIRGINIA ANN, consort of MR. GEORGE W. DRAKE of this place. Columbia Tennessee papers please copy.
