CAPPELL to MISS MARY M. COMBS, all of this place. Married on the 4th instant by REV. JAMES C. ELLIOTT, MR. WILLIAM H. ODOM, JR. to MISS JULIA P. WORTHAM (16 in Tennessee), daughter of WILLIAM H. WORTHAM, all of this place. Married on the 9th instant MR. ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY (39 in Tennessee) to MISS PRISCILLA JOHNSON (31 in Alabama), both of Limestone County. (volume 205, page 39; in 1840 PRISCILLA HOLT married DAVID JOHNSTON). Married on the 11th instant by REV. M. H. BONE, MR. WILLIAM H. JOHNSON of East Tennessee to MISS LUCILLA A. FORD of this county (daughter of MARIANNA and J0HN--see census). September 24, 1851 Died on the 17th instant after a short illness, MR. WILLIAM L. BIBB of this vicinity, a quiet, trustworthy man and a good citizen. Married on Wednesday evening the 10th instant by REV. J. W. PURVIS, COL. H. A. NUNNALLY to MISS LIZZIE, eldest daughter of JUDGE M. L. FITCH of Holmes County (Mississippi). From Yazoo Whig. October 1, 1851 Married in Athens (Limestone County) on the 21st instant MR. EMORY WADIL (38 in North Carolina) to MRS. NANCY M. BROADWATERS, both of this county. (volume 205, page 39) Died near Louisville, Kentucky at the residence of F. G. EDWARDS, Esq. on the 6th instant MRS. SALLY B. GRAY aged 52 years, only surviving daughter of the late COL. RICHARD TAYLOR and sister of the late ZACHARY TAYLOR, President of the United States. October 8, ,1851 Married on the 24th instant MR. WILLIAM S. HARVEY to MISS MARY E. CLEM, all of Limestone County (volume 205, page 40). Married in Limestone County on the 22nd of September ANDREW M. WHITE to MISS SARAH V. HOLT, all of that county (volume 205, page 40). Married on the 25th ult. DR. THOMAS S(TITH) MALONE to MISS HARRIET B(OLLING) PRYOR, all of Limestone County (volume 205, page 40; 2nd wife--daughter of LUKE and ANNE BATTE (LANE) PRYOR). Died at his residence in Madison County September 16, 1851, MR. JAMES LAWLER, aged 25. Died near Athens 26th of September, STITH T. MALONE, son of THOMAS H. and ELIZABETH T. MALONE in the 22nd year of his age. Died on the 24th instant at his residence in Limestone County, COL. JOHN MAPLES, an old and highly respected citizen. Departed this life on the 23rd of September, PAULINA L. infant daughter of J(OSHUA) H. and PAULINA G. BEADLE aged 10 months and 18 days. Died September 25th aged 18 months and 8 days, FRANK WARD PICKETT, only child of the late MRS. MARY FRANCES PICKETT (3/12 in Alabama), wife of STEPTOE PICKETT. October 15, 1851 Married on Thursday the 9th instant by REV. JOHN M. ROBERTSON, COL. R. BARNWELL RHETT, JR. of South Carolina to MISS JOSEPHINE B.
