Died in Winchester, Tennessee on the 26th instant, DR. ELISHA SIMS aged 69; also on the 29th instant MR. LEVI SCOTT aged 50, formerly of this place. Died on Saturday night the 1st instant at his residence in Lincoln County, Tennessee, BENJAMIN M. WILLIAMS aged about 70 years. Native of North Carolina, but for many years a resident of Courtland, Alabama (Lawrence County). November 12 1851 Married on the 29th instant (marriage record says married 5 November) by REV. B. C. CHAPMAN, MR. JOHN W. O'NEAL to MISS MARGARET M. GRAHAM, both of this place (volume 53, page 9). Married on the 5th instant, by REV. DAVID JACKS, MR. JOHN LAWLER to MISS SOLINA W. STONE, all of this county (volume 155, page 29). Married on the 30th instant at the residence of WILLIAM WILLIAMS near this place by JOHN T. HADEN, Esq., MR. JOHN A. (H) MILLER to MISS MARTHA ANN BROOKS (volume 48, page 22). Married in Athens on the 29th instant, FOUNTAIN E. OGLESBY (19 in Tennessee, son of W. JAMES GILES to MISS ELIZABETH GRIFFIN, all of this county (volume 127, page 26). Died on the 4th instant, MAJOR A. BROOKS aged about 23 years, and MR. JOHN M. Died near Memphis (Tennessee) on the Sth instant, GENERAL ISAAC WILBORN (WELBORN), well known in this county. Died in Tuscumbia on the 13th instant CAPT. WM. C. FRANCIS, a well known steamboat captain on the Tennessee River. In the same place on the 11th instant, MR. THOMAS E. CUMMINGS of Lawrence County.
