Died at his residence in Lawrence County on 22 of typhoid fever, COL. JOHN F. LIGHTFOOT aged 46. This is JOHN FRAZIER LIGHTFOOT born in 1850 in Davidson County, Tennessee; died 1852 in Lawrence County, Alabama. Married 1833 in Giles County, Tennessee MALEANA JONES McKISSACK. He was son of DR. THOMAS LIGHTFOOT and wife SARAH ALLEN, and grandson of DAVID ALLEN, Revolutionary pensioner of Lawrence and Franklin Counties, Alabama. (1850 Census “"aged 44 in Tennessee).
