July 7, 1852 Died in Decatur on the 23rd, MR. GEORGE W. A. ROGERS, SR. aged 47--a very respectable citizen of the place. Died in Tusbumbia on the 26th, COL. A. A. JOHNSON (is this AMOS at JJ North Carolina in 1850?) aged 57. Bill for divorce--VIRGINIA MINGA versus NATHANIEL G. MINGA. Defendant is a non-resident of Alabama. Note: VIRGINIA DICKSON married March 30th, 1847 NATHANIEL G. MINGA of Limestone County. In 1850 census of Madison County she was 38 and bom in Virginia; with her was MARGARET A. MINGA aged 2 bom in Alabama (volume 129, page 6). July 14, 1852 Died on the 5th after a protracted illness of 6 weeks, WILLIAM THOMAS, son of A. 0. and ELIZABETH WEAVER aged 11 years 10 months. Columbia Tennessee copy. Died on Saturday the 26th in Aberdeen of typhoid fever, MR. CHARLES C. EWING in his 34th year. July 21, 1852 Married in Belle Fonte on the 7th MR. JOSHUA STEPHENS to MISS LOUISA WILLIAMS. Married on the 4th by A. L. LOGAN, Esq. MR. THOMAS WILKINS (25; WILHELMS in marriage record; WILHELMS is right) to MISS JANE PARKER (16; WM.; living next door in census) all of this county. Married in Mooresville on the evening of the 30th by REV. J. C. ELLIOTT, MR. CALVIN BLEDSOE to MISS ANN S. GANTT (GRANT in Marriage record; volume 205, page 55). Married in Limestone County on the 8th by REV. R. P. RIDDLE, NATHAN COPELAND, to MISS PERMELIA J. MURRAH (volume 205, page 55). Died on the 5th IRA E. infant son of ISHAM H. and SUSAN HOBBS aged 9 months 12 days. Died in Limestone County on the 9th of consumption DAVID M. CRAWFORD an old and highly respected citizen. Died in Limestone County on the 5th, MRS. MARY M. consort of D. A. CANNON aged 26-3-2. Died in Lawrence County on the 28th, MR. JAMES M. DOWNS aged 27. July 28, 1852 Married in Decatur, Alabama Wednesday 21 July by REV. THOMAS J. NEELY, CAPT. JAMES M. TODD to MISS S. F. PARKER. Died in this place Wednesday the 21st, WILLIAM J. infant son of MR. RICHARD CHEWNING aged 9 months 3 weeks and 4 days.... Died on 23rd, MAJ. SAMUEL RAGLAND of this county aged about 80 years. Native of Virginia and distinguished for his kindenss of heart etc.... (Census of 1850 shows him aged 66, bom in Virginia) Died on the 15th, JOHN WITHERS, infant son of J. WITHERS and MARY F. L. CLAY aged 2-2-18. Died 17th June at 4 o'clock at the residence of his father, JOHN WATKINS TROUP, son of COL. JOHN TROUP of Morgan County aged 9 years 6 days. Died in Matagorda, Texas on the 1st, ELBERT A. THOMPSON aged 37 years formerly of this state. Died in South Florence, Saturday the 17th after a short illness, COL. HENRY R. BLOUNT. (1850 Census shows him aged 49, bom in Virginia). August 4, 1852 Married on the 28th by REV. G. A. COLLIER, MR. JOHN S. BALDWIN of Mississippi to MISS ISABELLA C. A. PARKER of this county. (Census of 1850 shows her aged 15, bom in Alabama, daughter of EDWARD T. PARKER; volume 100, page 16; she married 2. WM. D. COLLINS 1857) Died on Friday night July 23 CARALISA, only daughter of J. WITHERS and MARY F. L. CLAY aged 5 years 20 days.... Died on 30th LILLY VIRGINIA aged about 4 years, daughter of S. D. and VIRGINIA C. CABANISS. August 11, 1852 Married on Thursday the 5th by REV. DR. HALL, MR. WILLIAM C. SUGG of Franklin County to MISS MARIA FANNIE STONE of this place (also in Fayetteville (Tennessee) Observer August 19, 1852 and says WM. E.) 518 - (3818)
