THOMAS PATTERSON near Guntersville on the 22nd by REV. P. S. WOODS, MAJ. RICHMOND (RAYMOND in marriage record) NICKLES of that place to MISS SARAH A. PATTON, daughter of W. M. PATTON, Esq. (Census of 1850 shows her 17 in Alabama; her father 45 in Virginia; volume 139, page 38). Married on 29th, MR. ALLEN J. HOGAY (HAGEY in marriage record, volume 147, page 65) of Tennessee to MISS MARY E. daughter of MR. JAMES BURROW of this place. (1850 Census shows her 17 in Tennessee; her father 46 in North Carolina) Married on the 20th by REV. WILLIAM GREEN, MR. LEWIS MILLER to MISS SARAH CARPENTER (also in Fayetteville (Tennessee) Observer September 9, 1852; volume 48, page 23). Died on 27 July, EVELINE, daughter of ROBERT TRUE of Madison County. (Census of 1850 shows her aged 7, bom in Alabama; her father 36, bom in Alabama) Died in Athens on 30 July, WILLIAM HENRY, infant son of JOHN and MARY F. LEVESQUE aged 1 year 5 months and 18 days. In Athens on the 1st, EGBERT JONES, son of JUDGE THOMAS G. and ANN M. TYUS aged 10 years 1 month 19 days. (1850 Census shows him 8, bom in Alabama; his father 50, born in Virginia) Died on the 27th, LUCY, daughter of LOGAN D. and SARAH A. BRANDON of Monroe County, Mississippi aged 3 years 6 months. Died in Philadelphia on the 2nd, MRS. LYDIA VEITCH, wife of MR. WM. VEITCH, formerly of this place. August 18, 1852 Died--MRS. MARY E. HAMBRICK, consort of THOMAS C. HAMBRICK on 27 July of typhoid fever; daughter of SAMUEL and MARY CONNER and was bom in Madison County where she lived and died. August 25, 1852 Died in Limestone County Thursday the 5th, MRS. LUCY A. E. G. BATTE, consort of JOHN H. BATTE aged 36 years 3 months and 2 days. (1850 Census shows her aged 35, bom in Virginia; her husband 40 in Virginia) September 1, 1852 Married on the 25th by REV. J. LEROY HARRIS near Whitesburg, MR. JOHN Q. A. HENRY HOLLOWAY to MISS MARY MARSHALL. September 8, 1852 Married on Tuesday evening the 31st in this place by REV. DR. HALL, MR. JOHN W. ROBINSON of Jackson (Hinds County), Mississippi to MISS MARY JANE (16 in Alabama), daughter of JOS. B. BRADFORD (see Goodspeeds' Mins Memoirs, says she was daughter of B. M. BRADFORD; volume 76, page 22), Esq. (Fayetteville (Tennessee) Observer September 16, 1852 says MARTHA JANE--it's MARY JANE in census) Married in Limestone County on 11 August by REV. WILLIAM LEVESQUE, COL. MOSES GAGE of Panola, Mississippi to MISS CAROLINE S. EVES. (1850 Census shows her aged 18, bom in Alabama; volume 205, page 57; Fayetteville (Tennessee) Observer, September 9, 1852). Married on the 26th by REV. P. B. ROBINSON, MR. PENHAL REBMAN (BERNHART in marriage record; 27 in Germany) to MISS MARY E. MIDDLETON, all of this place. (Fayetteville (Tennessee) Observer September 16, 1852, volume 76, page 21; BERNARD in 1850 Census). Died on the evening of the 30th after a few weeks illness, WILLIAM F., infant son of MR.
