Died in Pike County, Alabama on Sunday, the 20th December last,
MR. WM. WICKER. The deceased was about 106 years. He served as a soldier in the revolutionary war. He was in the battle of Eutaw Springs and was engaged in several skirmishes with the British and Tories under GEN. MARION of South Carolina (Spirit of the South).
