Died in Choctaw County on 6th, MR. JOHN EGELL aged 55 years. Kind and affectionate husband. CAPT. BENJAMIN JOHNSON (55 in Virginia) died at his residence in vicinity of Decatur Monday 25th ult in 59th year after a brief illness of 24 days (Decatur Advocate). August 10, 1853 Died on 21st at residence of MR. T. A. COMBS 6 miles north of Buzzard Roost in Franklin County MRS. NANCY A. WALKER. Died at his residence near Russelville, Alabama on 25 July CHARLES DAVENEY (61 in Tennessee) in 64th year. Died in Morgan County on 2nd, aged 51 years, RICHARD M. BOALDIN (49 in Virginia). August 17. 1853 Married on 4th by REV. MR. MIZELL, MR. JESSE G. W. LEFTWICH of Louisiana to MISS MARIA AGNES, daughter of MR. JOSIAH POLLOCK of Florence, Alabama. On 2nd by REV. W. D. F. SAWRIE, MR. WM. H. PACE to MISS JULIA G. GRAHAM, all of this place (volume 64, page 23). On 7th in Wichester, Tennessee MR. JOHN H. GUTHRIE to MISS MARINDA MARKHAM all of McNulty, Madison County, Alabama. Died at his father's residence on 9th of typhoid fever, MR. JOHN D. MURPHY in his 27th year.... On 25th July at residence of MR. W. E. ROBERTSON in Limestone County MR. JAMES M. CARMICHAEL of this county aged 39 years.... Died in Athens of typhoid fever on 6th, MR. ALFRED D. COE aged about 23. In Athens on 7th MISS MARGARET J. ECKEBERGER, daughter of MR. SAMUEL ECKEBERGER aged about 25. Died in Athens on 8th MRS. ELIZABETH HOLT, widow of the late WM. H. HOLT. Died in this city on 5th, MR. JOHN C. SIMPSON in 39th year. Had long been a resident of this city and for several years had transacted business in New Orleans.... Kind husband and father (Tuscaloosa Enquirer). August 24, 1853 Married on 6th by REV. DR. P. B. ROBINSON, MR. EDWARD Y. POLLARD to MISS FANNY A. McCOY, all of this place (volume 64, page 23). Died on 7th August MRS. ANN A. HINDS at residence of MR. A. J. ESSLINGER, daughter of MR. SAMUEL and ELIZABETH KNOX and was born in North Carolina, Anson County on 3 March 1804. Moved to this county in 1825. Educated in best seminaries in North Carolina. Member M. E. Church. Died in Vienna, Madison County, Alabama SISTER NANCY JANE NOWLIN, consort of DAVID S. NOWLIN and daughter of EPHRAIM and HESTER LEDBETTER bom in Madison County January 4, 1827. Was married January 23rd, 1845 departed this life July 28, 1853 aged 26 years 6 months and 24 days . Departed this life on 6th in 24th year, MRS. LOUISA CLOUD, wife of JAMES CLOUD, of Madison County, Alabama. Left husband and 4 small children. Departed this life on 3 August 1853 in Cloud's Cove, Madison County, Alabama in 26th year, MRS. ELIZABETH A. TURNER, wife of SIMON N. TURNER. Left husband and 3 small children.... Died in Lauderdale County on 16th, after a short illness, MR. THOMAS HICKS in his 96th year. Died at his residence in Colberts Reserve on 10th of chronic diarrhea, MR. ROBERT SHERROD aged 64. Died in Limestone County on 15, HENRY DWIGHT only son of JAMES L. R. and SARAH F. LEONARD aged 3 years. August 31 1853 Married at residence of JOSEPH HERRING, Esq. in Morgan County on 17th at 12 o'clock midnight by A. A. HULETT, Esq., MR. CALEB COLLINS to MRS. MARTHA E.
