On 18 August of yellow fever, ELLEN, youngest daughter of same. On 23 August of yellow fever, FRANCES B., eldest daughter of same. On 1st September of yellow fever, JOHN B. GROVES, merchant of this city, formerly of Columbia, Tennessee. (New Orleans paper) In Limestone County on 27th, MRS. REBECCA HALDANE aged 80-8-19. Died in Montgomery on Saturday the 10th at 8 o'clock p.m., MRS. ANN ELIZABETH BAGBY (2nd wife), consort of Ex-Governor ARTHUR P. BAGBY and daughter of CAPT. SIMON CONNELL (died September 1857, buried in Mobile), formerly of Darlington District, South Carolina. (ancestor of MRS. HARRY B. BROWN, 1964; a P. BAGBY married 1. EMILY STEELE, 2. (1828) ANN ELIZ. CONNELL. Then daughter ADELAIDE 1832 Tuscaloosa, married THOS HAMLET WILSON, A. P. BAGBY died September 21, 1858, buried in Mobile. Old Claiborne Cemetery, Monroe County, Alabama. (14 in Alabama), daughter of CHARLES (63 in North Carolina) and ENNIS CONLEY (EUNICE P. in census) (38 in Alabama), all of this county. Died at his residence in this county on 3, MRS. MARY E. RUSSEL (MARY E. PRUIT married 1847; 22 in Alabama), wife of ROBERT F. RUSSEL (25 in Alabama) in her 25th year.... Died at residence of his father (NASHVILLE MALONE) on 11th of typhoid fever, MR. ROBERT MALONE (bom December 19, 1830, died October 11, 1853), aged about 24 years. He was a young man of generous impulses, frank and social disposition, left many friends. Departed this life at his residence on 3rd, COL. H. H. LEA (44 in Tennessee) aged about 48 years. COL. Obituary: RICHARD R.'JEFFRIES who died at his residence near this place on the 30th instant of a chronic disease, which had been undermining his constitution for several months. In a short obituary like this.... MR. JEFFRIES was bom in the County of Culpepper in the State of Virginia on 4th of August 1803 and emigrated with his father about the year 1817 to Madison County in this state and remarried there until December, 1839 at which time he removed to this section--he leaves a wife, 2 sons--l grown and other near his majority--22 little grandchildren, offspring of a daughter who died about 18 MRS. SEVY Uniontown October 1, 1853. Huntsville papers will please copy. Died in Perry County on 30, MR. RICHARD R. JEFFRIES (46 in Virginia) aged 50 years. Formerly resided in Madison County. Died at Warrenton, Marshall County, Alabama on morning of 3rd of an affection of the throat, EMILIE, daughter of DR. A. MOORE aged 8-7-27. October 26, 1853 Married on Thursday evening 20th, at Oak Place by REV. C. FOSTER WILLIAMS, MR. RICHARD H. WINTER of New Orleans, to MISS SALLIE F. (20 in Alabama), daughter of GEORGE STEELE, Esq.
