Died in Lewisburg near New Orleans on 13 September of yellow fever MRS. SALLIE F. PARKER, wife of REV. LINUS PARKER and daughter of REV. ALEXANDER SALE (70 in Virginia) of Lawrence County, Alabama.... Died at Cottage Hill near Mobile on Friday the 20th, HENRY T., twin son of SEYMOUR R. and OCTAVIA W. LONGLEY aged 2 years 3 months. Died in Gainesville on 22, MR. J. PAXTON McMAHON of Courtland, Alabama in 29 year. Born 26 January 1852 (sic--1822?) in Rockingham County, Virginia and in year 1838 removed with his father (JOHN J.) to this state. Died in Limestone County after a long and lingering illness, MALCOLM THOMPSON (46 in North Carolina) aged 51...worthy citizen. November 2, 1853 Married on 12th by REV. T. H. WOODWARD, MR. THOS. C. HAMBRICK to MISS SARAH E. KELLEY, all of Madison County. Died on 25 at his father's residence near Lowesville, MR. WILLIAM L. JONES aged 21 years. Young man of much promise... had been married but a few months. Died of typhoid fever on 3 August, CHARLES D. McCAA aged 17 years, at his mother's residence near Meridianville.... The widowed mother has given up her eldest, her only son, JAMES P. McCAA who departed this life 27 August. When quite a small boy, he was bereft of an indulgent father... . SMITH (56 in New Jersey) , MISS MARGARETTE THOMPSON (27 in Pennsylvania). native of Pennsylvania, but had resided here for several years prior to her death. Died in Athens on 20th, MRS. JANE OGLESBY (43 in Tennessee, wife of W. H.) in her 48th year. She was 30 years a member of the M. E. Church...kind wife, mother, friend and neighbor. Died on 23rd, MR. WM. BRIGHT aged 85, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Lincoln County, Tennessee. Died near Triana on 25th, MR. JOEL M. WATKINS (78 in Virginia) aged 86, a worthy citizen. Died at Joppa, near Decatur, Alabama, MARY (22 in New Jersey), daughter of CEPHUS (52 in England) and MARY HALL (50 in New York) and wife of JACKSON FINERTY (28 in Virginia). Born in Patterson, New Jersey and died October 26. 1853 aged 26 years 3 months. Died in Decatur on 29 of October, HENRY L.
