HUMPHREY-TRUE CEMETERY (1)
LOCATION: Sec. 1-3S-1W. C. SE/4. This cemetery is located approx. 1/8 mile west of Byers Nursery Center on North Memorial Parkway. It is well hidden in a grove of trees and difficult to locate.
HUMPHREY, DAVID-Born in Bedford Co., Va., Nov. 16, 1769. Died June 19, 1857.
Note: There is evidence of several unmarked graves in this cemetery including rock-covered tombs.
Census, Oct. 23, 1850: Humphrey, David (76) Va., farmer - $32,400.
Sally (71) Va.

HUMPHREY, MARY FANNIE - Born Nov. 28, 1838 - died Dec. 8, 1857, age 19 years and 10 days. Blessed the Lord O my soul, and all that is within me. Bless his holy name.
DARWIN - Inf. dau. of G. & B. L. Darwin. Born April 15, 1833 - died July 5, 1833.
DARWIN - Infant son of G. & B. L. Darwin. Born dead. 1834.
DARWIN, BELINDA L. - Wife of G. Darwin and daughter of D. &S. Humphrey. Born August 25th, 1805 - died October 13th, 1836. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernackle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. II Cor. V Chapt., 1st Vs. The above she chose for her funeral services.

TRUE, MARY ANN - Wife of Robert True. Born Aug. 12, 1822 - died Nov. 3, 1852. (Note: Robert True -M- Mary Ann Beal 1-17-1849).
TRUE, EVELINA S. A. - Evelina S. A., daughter of R. & Sarah A. True, bom April 10, 1842 - died July 26, 1852.
VEST, SARAH ANN ADAMS - Sarah Ann Adams Vest died April 5, 1847 age 21 yrs., 10 mo., 24 days.
