HALSEY of Decatur, Alabama to MISS MARTHA G. SNEAD (15 in Alabama) of Athens, Alabama. Died on 27 July last in Greensboro, JOHN CRUTCHER, 4th son of DR. THOMAS C. (32 in South Carolina) and MRS. GREER, in Lincoln on the 9th, by REV. MR. COWAN, MR. SAMUEL A. SLAUGHTER of Marshall County, Tennessee to MISS JOSEPHINE EDMONDSON of Lincoln. Died at his residence near Huntsville, Alabama on the 17th of hemorrhage, ROBERT S. BRANDON (33 in Alabama) aged about 38 years. Bom, raised and educated in this community.. .member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Left orphan children. In Bellefonte, Alabama on the 16th, CHARLIE J., son of MR. and MRS. W. J. GREENE, died. Accidental death of MR. HENRY GILDER, an old gentleman 66 or 67 years of age, well known in this and some of adjoining counties as a school teacher...(Jacksonville Sunny South). SARAH SAWYERS (41 in South Carolina; wife of JAMES), both of Decatur. Married on the 22nd by REV. W. MOONEY, SAMUEL W. L. McCLESKY (40 in Tennessee), Esq., of Frankfort, Alabama to MISS MARY A. MATTHEWS of Tuscumbia. Died in Huntsville at the residence of his son-in-law, THOMAS MARTIN, Esq., on 8 August, WILLIAM H. IRBY (73 in Virginia) at the advanced age of 79. He was bom in Pittsylvania County, Virginia where he resided until 1825 at which time he removed to Madison County, Alabama. Died on the 12th at residence of his father, in Morgan County, WM A. S. DAVIS (10 in Alabama) in the 13th year. Eldest son of RILEY S. DAVIS (47 in Kentucky) and FRANCES S., deceased--formerly FRANCES S. SLAUGHTER (dead 1850--evidently widow COLLIER), only daughter of the late JOHN SLAUGHTER of Virginia. Also at the same house on 17th, RHODA ANN, second daughter of ELISHA BELL, deceased and NANCY P., now NANCY P. DAVIS. Died at her residence in Limestone County, Alabama on Friday 4 August MRS.
