Born in this county September 29, 1830 and was united in marriage to MISS CORNELIA J. DEMENT on 3 September 1851. Departed this life at her residence in this county, MRS. ANN THOMPSON in the 75th year of her age. Born in Brunswick County, Virginia in the year 1779 (tombstone says 1789 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia) where she resided until the year 1835 when she emigrated to Madison County, Alabama, where she died November 5, 1854.
