T(IMOTHY) ROOT, MR. JOHN T. HARDIE of New Orleans to MISS W. E. GARY (ANN; 14 in Alabama) of Tuskegee, Alabama (daughter of WM. L) Married on 14th in Marshall County, MR. JOHN F. EDDS (14 in Alabama) to MISS MARTHA JANE ALLEN, both of Jackson County. Married on 15th by WM. ARMSTRONG, Esq., MR. WM. JENKINS to MISS MARGARET CLARK, all of Jackson County. Married on 15th by REV. Died at his residence in Hickory Flat in this county, on 6th after a short illness, MR. THOMAS E. SPRAGINS (29 in Virginia) in his 34th year. Departed this life at his residence in this county on 18 October ROBERT H. HEREFORD (19 in Alabama; THEODORE) in the 24th year of his age. Born in this county September 29, 1830 and was united in marriage to MISS CORNELIA J. DEMENT on 3 September 1851. Departed this life at her residence in this county, MRS. ANN THOMPSON in the 75th year of her age. Born in Brunswick County, Virginia in the year 1779 (tombstone says 1789 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia) where she resided until the year 1835 when she emigrated to Madison County, Alabama, where she died November 5, 1854. November 29, 1854 Married on 9th at the residence of MERRIWETHER LEWIS, Esq. in Triana, by REV. DR. FINLEY, MR. JAMES M.
