COOVER of Franklin County, Tennessee. Married at Summerfield, Alabama on 22nd, REV. BISHOP ANDREW of Methodist Episcopal Church South and MRS. CHILDERS. Died on 29 after lingering illness, MRS. Died on 5th, OTIS AINSWORTH, only child of J. M. H. and ELIZABETH M. SMITH aged 10 months 8 days. Died in Courtland on 23rd, OCTAVIUS BYRD (18 in Alabama; MARTHA) aged 23. Died in Franklin County on 5th, E. H. NEWSOM (NEWMAN in census) aged 51. Died in Tuscumbia on 9th, WM. D. GORDON aged 46. December 27, 1854 Died at 12 o'clock on night of 18th, JAMES ERSKINE O'NEAL of scarlet fever. Born August 8, 1849.
