Born in Albemarle County, Virginia December 6. 1798 and was born again in 1820--Methodist Episcopal Church. Left a widow and an only daughter. Died at Angola Plantation, Louisiana on the morning of Thursday the 25th ult of scarlet fever, LAURA VICTORIA, twin daughter of COL. JOSEPH A. S. and ADELICIA ACKLEN aged 2 years and 3 months. Died at Buzzard Roost, Franklin County, Alabama on 24 January after a lingering illness, R(OBERT) M. WHITE (70 in Virginia) in 74th year, (ancestor of MRS. WM. S. JOHNSON, Spruce Pine, Alabama, 1963) Died on 3rd, WILLIAMETTA E., eldest daughter of R. D. and M. E. ELLIOTT aged 3 years 2 months and 24 days. February 21, 1855 Married on 14th by REV. JNO. D. BARBEE, GEORGE W. JOYNER, Esq. to MISS S(ARAH) M. STRAIN, all of Morgan County. Married on 18th by REV. DR. ROBINSON, MR. HENRY LAWRENCE (12 in Tennessee) to MISS ZUALDA (ZERILDA in census) E.
