March 12 1856 Died at his own residence in Madison County, Alabama on night of 19th February 1856, JOHN L. KING, son of JOHN KING, on 20th before his burial, his funeral was preached by REV. M. H. BONE. JOHN L. KING was bom December 28, 1825, married February 1851 and departed this life at above named time aged 31 years 1 months and some days. WM. D. HOLLOWELL, aged about 4 years. Died in Elkton, Tennessee on the 6th, MAJ. ROBERT B. HARNEY. Married in Columbus (Muscogee County), Georgia on 8th, OLIVER TOWLES, formerly of this place. Died after a short illness on 9th at advanced age of 77 years, PETER LOONEY for many years a citizen of Lawrence County. (1850 census shows him aged 69 in South Carolina) March 26, 1856 Married on 25th February by REV. J. R. MORRIS, MR. MILAS RUSSELL to MISS LUCINDA H. SHOOK, all of Jackson County.
