Married on 9th, MR. THOS. COBB to MISS R. A. HERRON, all of this county. Died on 25 June last, EMBERSON M. WANN of Vienna, Madison County, Alabama. MR. WANN was bom in 1832 and lived an exemplary life. Left a wife and infant to mourn his loss. (1850 census shows him aged 23 in Alabama, son of ISAAC D. WANN) Died on 9th, MR. JOSHUA BARKER, long a resident of Huntsville. (1850 census shows him 40 in Virginia) Died in Talladega on 28th, MISS MARY VANN, daughter of ANAIAS (ANANIAS?) and JANE VANN, formerly of this county, in the 19th year of her age. July 24, 1856 Married in Somerville, Alabama March 21 by REV. DR. WELCH, THEO' ACKLIN, Esq. of Huntsville, Alabama and MISS HARRIET MORTON GOOCH of Smyrna, Rutherford County, Tennessee. GRIFFIN LAMKIN of Virginia in 75th year of his age. Died in Athens on 30th, JOHN M. RICHARDSON aged 60. Died in Limestone County on 10th, WILLIAM B. ELLIOTT aged 28. Died at residence of E. L. HUSSEY in Chickasaw County, Mississippi on 23 June, JOSHUA M. DILLARD after an illness of 3 days, aged 29 years 4 months. Left a large circle of relations and friends. WATKINS aged 52 years. (1850 census shows her aged 45 in North Carolina) Died near Huntsville, Alabama at the residence of MR. THOMAS MARTIN July 19, MARY B., daughter of REV. E. and SALLIE J. (IRBY) STRODE aged 9 months .... August 7, 1856 Married by REV. H. M. BONE on 31st, MR. A. J. HOUSE to MISS MARY T. LOWRY, all of vicinity of Maysville. Died, MRS. ELIZA A. D. JACKSON, wife of DR. JAMES M. JACKSON at the residence of her mother, MRS. PRICE in Somerville, Alabama at 10% o'clock on Saturday morning the 26th after a painful illness of 6 days. MRS. JACKSON was bom December 8, 1826, was married to her surviving husband November 6, 1850, became a member of the Methodist Church in the fall of 1853. 567 - (3867)
