February 12 1857 Married in Waco, Texas on 29th December 1856 by REV. S. G. O'BRYAN, MR. R. J. TALLY (formerly of Tuscumbia, Alabama) to MISS H. V. LINKINHOGER, all of Waco. Married on 3rd by REV. ALEX. PENLAND, MR. HENRY W. GRANTLAND to MISS MARIA F. OWEN, daughter of THOMAS OWEN, Esq., all of Madison County. (In 1850 census, MARIA was aged 12 born in Alabama and her father was 39 born in Virginia) Married on 3rd by REV. G. W. MITCHELL, MR. WASHINGTON L. NELSON to MISS MATTIE A. TANNER, both of Athens (volume 223, page 68). Died in Tuscumbia on the 5th at about 7 o'clock after a short illness of pneumonia, FRANCIS H. ROSS in 46th year. Died of pneumonia in DeSoto County, Mississippi on the 26th, MR. WILLIAM THOMAS EASON in 43rd year of his age. Born in North Carolina but raised in Madison County near Huntsville, where he married a daughter of HENRY HARRIS. He was endowed with a superior natural mind...Methodist. February 26, 1857 Married at Mt. Pleasant on 6th by REV. I(SAAC) MILNER, MR. RICHARD S. COOK of Franklin County, Alabama to MISS BETTIE BOND of Spring Hill (Maury County), Tennessee. Married on 10th, MISS ELIZABETH J. WILLIAMS to MR. JAMES PERRY, all of Jackson County. Married on Tuesday the 17th by REV. MR. KLINE, MR. WILLIAM A. (he was son of JAS. C. and ELIZ. FENNELL) Died on 9th in Larkinsville, Alabama of typhoid fever, MR. WILLIAM PATTON aged 43. 576 - (3876)
