Died in Nashville on 27th, SARAH, wife of the venerable BISHOP SOULE. Died in this place on 2nd, MISS JANE HALL, for many years a well known resident of Huntsville. Died of measles near Whitesburg, May 21st, in her 14th year, NANCY RICHARDS, daughter of STEPHEN M. and JANE RICHARDS. Bom May 24, 1843. Member of Presbyterian Church. June 11, 1857 Married on the 4th by E. M. FITZ, Esq., MR. JOHN P. PARVIN to MISS MATTIE A. PIKE, all of this county. Married at the residence of NICH. PARHAM on 28th of May by JOHN A. JOHNSON, Esq., MR. JOHN W. BLACK to MISS SARAH F. OWEN, all of Limestone County (volume 223, page 70; "at residence of NICHOLAS PARHAM"). Married on the 4th, by REV. MR. TOMES, HIRAM J. Pleasant, Maury County, Tennessee. Died in Marshall, Texas on the 2nd, SAMUEL FINLEY, a very worthy citizen. July 9, 1857 Married in Nashville on 30th of June by REV. F. A. THOMPSON, MR. BYRD DOUGLAS of Nashville to MISS SALLIE C., daughter of W. J. CRAGWELL, Esq. of Wilson County. Married on 28th June by JOHN W. IRBY, Esq., JAMES H. MURRAY to MISS ELENDER CATHERINE SAMMONS, all of this county. Married on 28th by REV. J. H. DUNN at the residence of WILLIAM FOGG, MR. BENJAMIN F. SCOTT to MISS VIRGINIA S. FOGG, both of Limestone County (volume 223, page 71 for license). Married near Shelbyville, Tennessee on 1st, MAJ. JAMES RUSS, JR., Editor of Shelbyville, Expositor and MISS CLARA J. GREENE. Died--MRS. MARY A. LAWLER, consort of MR. JEHU LAWLER near Maysville, Alabama. Eldest daughter of JNO. R. F. and LILA S. HEWLETT... bom April 17, 1839. Methodist Episcopal Church. Joined July 12, 1851. Died June 23, 1857. Died at the residence of her husband, DR. WM. B. GREEN in Madison County, Alabama on 28th June, MRS. SARAH GREEN, in the 58th year of her age. The deceased was bom in Wayne County, North Carolina in the year 1799 and removed to this county in 1816. She died a Christian. Raleigh and Newberne, North Carolina papers copy, also Huntsville, Texas paper. Note: She was daughter of URIAH BASS. See our volume 129 page 69 for tombstones of BASS and GREEN families. "SARAH GREEN bom February 4, 1799, died June 28, 1857." Died on July 1st in this place, WILLIE MORRISON, infant son of JOSEPH W. and MILLIE DURYEE. Died in this place July 2, 1857, ANNIE, infant daughter of MRS. MARTHA LACKLAND of DeSoto County, Mississippi. Died in Jackson County on the 24th of scarlet fever, MOLLIE CATE, daughter of J. P. and JANE C. LEDBETTER aged near 4 years. Died on the 21st instant SARAH A., wife of JUDGE JAS. H. TRIMBLE of Franklin County. Died Thursday, July 2nd of consumption, EMMA HUDGINS, wife of A(NDREW) HUDGINS, Esq., of Jackson County and daughter of WILLIE STINNETT, formerly of Limestone County. July 23, 1857 Resolutions on the death of DR. ALEXANDER ERSKINE. Died July 19th at the residence of H. E. MORGAN in Shelby County, Tennessee, MR. MARCUS A. BOTELER aged 23 years 3 months.
