MR. ASA PARKER (46 in North Carolina), one of oldest and best known citizens of this county, died at his home in Monroeville last Saturday morning was about 77 years old.

DR. JAS. KENT (22 in Virginia), who came to Linden from Petersburg, Virginia in 1850 and removed to Selma 1855 and to Jefferson County a few years ago, died in Birmingham the 22 and was buried in Selma.

(From Linden Reporter) Died at residence of MR. JOHN HUNTER near Jefferson, Alabama the 21, MRS. BARBARA SIMMONS, consort of late LEWIS SIMMONS. Was 64 years old.
MAUD, daughter of MRS. M. A. DUNCAN who removed from this place to Selma the 1st of the year died the 19th.

CALEB WILLIAMS, only son of MRS. MARY E. ALDRIDGE, died of congestion at home of his mother, Saturday the 2nd.
JOEL DEES died at his home near Monroeville last week.
DR. H. P. SMITH, formerly of Monroe, died at Brewton a few weeks ago.

BENJ. GRISSETT (40 in North Carolina), formerly of Claiborne, died at his home in Escambia County a few days ago.
MRS. ROBINSON, an aged widow of Claiborne, fell dead from her chair July 20.

JOHN SIMMONS, once sheriff of Monroe County, died in Monroeville the 28th.

MRS. FANNY AGEE, wife of MR. W. L. AGEE, Sheriff of Marengo County, died Thursday at Linden. Daughter of MR. T. B. GAINES of Dayton. She was quite young, having been married less than a year. (From Demopolis News)

Died in Coffeeville this county Monday night 24th, J. WALTER MALONE, son of late NAT MALONE of Coffeeville.

Died last week at Rehoboth, Alabama MRS. SALLIE PRICE aged about 68 years, wife of HON. THOS. W. PRICE of Wilcox and mother of MRS. MARY TIDWELL of this place.
