Note: The following newspaper clipping was found in the journal of David E. Kelly, under date of November 30, 1930: "Funeral services for Jesse D. Dupree,
Madison County farmer, who died suddenly at his home at Monrovia Thursday, November 27, (1930) were conducted Saturday at Mt. Zion Church, the Rev. H. Rice, pastor, officiating. The Widow, Mrs. Mary Dupree, five sons and one daughter survive." (Note: The article does not state that he was buried in this cemetery and I could locate no stone for him.)
