WORD, OMANDA E. - Was Born May 30, 1830 - died July 30, 1831.
Note: The above two children are the children of Jane Bailey and Charles Word who were -M- 2-20-1828 (MB-III).
HUGHES, SARAH C. - Born 1834 - died 1880.
Note: Sarah C. Abernathy - M- James E. Hughes; Lise., 1-5-1857 (MB-4B)
CARTWRIGHT CEMETERY (5)
LOCATION: Sec. 18-4S-2W. NE NW NW SW. On south side of Palmer Road about 1-1/2 miles west of the town of Madison.
Note: This was a large cemetery with many unmarked graves in it.
CARTWRIGHT, H. B. - Born March 31, 1812 - died Sept. 24, 1866.
Note: Martha A., wife of H. B. Cartwright, is buried in the old section of the Madison Cemetery. Next to the grave of H. B. Cartwright is a grave which is much older than any with stones. It was a rock tomb which had crumbled and the rocks were strewed about the ground. There was no identification on it. The Cartwright family was the first to settle in this area of the county.
CRUTCHER, MARY R. RAWLINS - Wife of Chaney Crutcher. Born June 26, 1799, died March 4, 1889.
CRUTCHER, CHANEY - Sacred to the Memory of Chaney Crutcher who departed this life Dec. 19th, 1846 aged 45 years, 8 mo., 23 days.
CRUTCHER, THOS. F. - Sacred to the Memory of Thos. F. Crutcher, son of E. C. and Evalina J. Crutcher, was born June 28, 1845, died 3 Sept. 1846 aged 14 mo., & 6 days.
