LOCATION: Sec. 16-4S-2W. N/2 N/2 NW. The old section lies on the south side of Mill Road on the east edge of the town of Madison. The new section lies across the road.

Note: Jim Ashford had a Negro funeral parlor in Madison for many years before his death. He does not have a tombstone but his grave is surrounded by a rock wall into which is set a stone inscribed "J. P. Ashford, Jr. "
NOTE: In this cemetery is a CSA iron cross, No. 570, and no other identification on the grave.
