LIPSCOMB CEMETERY LOCATION: Redstone Arsenal. Section 24-4S-2W. SW SW. LIPSCOMB, RICHARD - In Memory of Richard Lipscomb, born A. D. 1800, died 10th August, 1847. LIPSCOMB, ROBERT M. - Born September 20, 1824, died November 19, 1852(1832?) (NOTE: Because of the style of lettering used, and some weathering, it was impossible to tell if the year of death was 1832 or 1852. Assuming this is the same Robert Lipscomb listed in the 1850 census the date of death would be 1852.) LIPSCOMB, HARRIET N. - Born April 28, 1843, died November 15, 1856. NOTE: There were four obelisks in this cemetery of which those of Richard and Robert (above) were quite large; the one marking Harriet's grave was much smaller in appearance but that may have been because it was badly broken. There was one other very large obelisk in this cemetery but a thorough search failed to reveal any inscription. These four markers were in a row and the blank one was between those of Robert and Harriet. Census, November 9, 1850: Lipscomb, Sarah (47) Va. Robert (24) " Martha A. R. (23) ” Manerva J.
